Selcuk - Johannes cathedral / Johannes katedralen

Location south of Izmir West Turkey. Selcuk is the towncenter for the nearby Ephesus (see www.foto-out.dk/efesos and the Johannes Cathedral. The Cathedral was build in the 6th Century (Justinian I) parallel with the construction of Aya Sophia in Istanbul. The grand church was named after John the Apostle/Evangelist (?) who lived and died in the area.
