Assos
Location north of Izmir, West Turkey. Old city dating back to the Hittites. Aristotle was here and Platos ideas of a ideal city-state were practiced. The Temple og Athena dates back to 540 BC. In 1880 the place was (re)discovered by Francis Bacon. The rebuild temple has amasing views to the Greek island Lesvos.
